Building GHCi with static linking

We now build GHC with dynamic linking by default, but I
recently attempted a build with static linking instead. Using:


I got:

Loading package ghc-prim ... <command line>: can't load .so/.DLL for: ( cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)

Is there another build flag I have to trigger? It looks like ghc-stage2
is still attempting load things dynamically.
